Master Bedroom |
Before - Pinstriped and floral wallpaper, blond woodwork, and wicker ceiling fan
was the style before. We have added another antique washstand. The one above
was Dacia's great-grandma Helen's. Dacia refinished it in 4-H. |
This cedar-lined, walk-in closet is located right off the master bedroom. It is Dacia's
favorite part of the whole house. We will configure this for us when we
find the time with shoe caddies and double rods. |

During - We replaced the hollow-core, blond doors. The new door is on the left. They
are red oak, 3-panel, flat panel doors. |
After - The paint technique has 7 1/2 layers on the walls and took Dacia over a month
to complete. The resulting look is of brown suede. I hope you can see it here. |
The almond colored vinyl window is new. Kevin made the wide oak trim. |

During2 - The new doors have been stained and varnished. We installed oil-rubbed
bronze egg-shaped door knobs. Kevin made all the trim pieces. |
The bamboo roman shade was custom fit by us. |

Before Floor |
After Floor |
Kevin repaired the missing floor boards, sanded, stained and varnished the floor.
We love how it turned out. Much better than the carpet! |
We are currently still working in this room. We need to make and install the baseboards
and refinish furniture. |
